Our Project
Our project aims to fill the gap that has been created by the shortage of trained medical personnel in developing African nations. Currently, most medical facilities in Africa do not offer sufficient measurement of basic vital signs due to the lack of medical personnel to takemeasurements from a large number of patients. This leaves the physicians, who are already overburdened with many patients, without the data they need to deliver quality care.
Our project's goal is to increase the efficiency of African medical workers by developing a all-in-one toolkit that can measure multiple vital signs and send that information to a mobile device, which will enable a medical worker to monitor the status of multiple patients at one time.
